What are annuities?
Annuities are investments which are sold by insurance companies which convert lump sums of savings into a regular income. Unlike other investments annuities continue to pay income for as long as you (and your partner for joint annuities) live.
Normally this lump sum will be the conversion of your pension fund into regular monthly payments during your retirement years. There are also special purchased life annuities which allow you to buy an annuity from funds other than your pension pot
Depending on your circumstances you may want to consider income drawdown (also known as income withdrawal). This may provide a better income for your retirement, or may be more beneficial tax wise. Income drawdown applies to people with pension funds in excess of £100,000.
To find out which annuity would best suit your needs complete the free, no obligation form below. Our advisers will look at the current annuities market place and provide comparisons specific to your needs and requirements.
It is easy to enquire about pension annuities. All you need to do is complete the simple form below.
Due to the flexibility of the annuity policies financial advisers can offer we cannot provide online quotations. A financial adviser will contact you to discuss your exact requirements and formulate a tailored annuity proposal for your circumstances.
Thank you for submitting your enquiry. We are currently processing your request, please wait for the next page to be displayed, which could take up to 45 seconds.
